👨‍🍳 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
· 2 blocks of tofu (frozen & thawed)
· 2 tbsp corn starch
· 1 tsp onion powder
· Pinch of black salt
(𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐞)
· 2 tsp gochujang
· 1 tsp sesame oil
· 1 tsp dark soy sauce
· 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
· Splash of water

👨‍🍳 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
1. Tear up the tofu into pieces and coat it with the dry mixture.
2. Fry it and drain excess oil. Prepare the sauce, add back the tofu onto the pan and pour the sauce, mixing it evenly.
3. Add toasted sesame seeds and give them a good mix. Serve immediately!

👨‍🍳 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
· 12 oz Taiwanese Oil Noodles
· 8 oz thinly sliced rib-eye (or protein of your choice.)
· 3 cups Taiwanese cabbage, shredded
· 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
· 1 cup carrots, shredded
· 3 green onions, cut into 3” pieces
· 1/4 cup water
· 1 tbsp minced garlic
(𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐞)
· 2 tbsp soy sauce
· 2 tbsp oyster sauce
· 2 tbsp mirin
· 1 tbsp sugar
· 1 tsp sesame oil
· 1/2 tsp white pepper

👨‍🍳 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
1. Combine all the sauce ingredients and pour over your protein. Carefully mix the meat, making sure every slice is coated in the sauce. Chill in the fridge until step 6.
2. Add oil to the bottom of a large pan over medium-high heat.
3. Once hot, add garlic and mushrooms.
4. Once fragrant, add the cabbage and carrots and mix.
5. Add 1/4 cup water to the pan. Cover and let cook for a few minutes or until vegetables are soft.
6. Uncover and transfer to another container, getting rid of any excess moisture.
7. Roughly clean pan and bring it back over medium heat.
8. Add some oil and let heat up for a bit.
9. Add the beef and toss for 30 seconds or until beef is just cooked. Be careful to not overcook the beef this early. It cooks quickly since it is thinly sliced.
10. Add the noodles and green onions, toss until everything is evenly coated in the sauce.
11. Continue cooking for another few minutes & toss and cook for another minute over high heat.
12. Give a final toss, and serve!

It’s a perfect flavor and texture combo. Although It’s a hearty sandwich, for sure, it is pure comfort food! Here's how you can make your own like Owen!

👨‍🍳 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
· Thick-sliced Texas Toast/Milk bread
· 1 ½ lbs ground chuck (80/20)
· 1 tsp garlic powder
· 1 tsp salt
· 1 yellow onion, sliced 1/4 inch
· 1 cup buttermilk
· 1 cup flour
· Oil for frying
· Monterey Jack cheese

(𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐞)
· 1/2 Cup Mayo
· 1 Tbsp Mustard
· 1 Tbsp White vinegar
· 1 Tbsp Lemon juice
· 2 Tbsp Canned Chipotle peppers with sauce
· 1 Tbsp Paprika & Onion powder
· 1 Tbsp Pepper & Salt

👨‍🍳 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
1. Crispy onions: In a medium bowl, soak the onions in buttermilk for 10 minutes.
2. Add flour to a separate bowl. Season with salt and pepper and whisk to combine.
3. Toss onions in the flour mixture until fully coated. In a large skillet over medium heat, add about 1” oil. When oil reaches 375F, add the onions and fry until golden, about 2 min.
4. Drain on a paper towel-lined tray and season with more salt.
5. Sauce: combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and stir until a uniform mixture forms.
6. Place the ground beef into a bowl. Add salt and garlic powder and mix well.
7. Form the beef into 4oz balls.
8. Heat a cast iron pan over medium-high heat.
9. Once hot, place the burger balls onto the pan. Place parchment paper over the meat and firmly smash straight down into a thin patty.
10. Cook for 1 minute and 30 seconds then flip.
11. Add the cheese and cook until melted for about 30 seconds.
12. Slice your bread about half an inch thick and toast in butter. Peel a clove of garlic and rub on both sides of your toasted bread.
13. Assemble: To the toasted slice of bread, add the sauce then two patties and top with more sauce. Add the crispy onions then close the sandwich. Cut in half and enjoy

If you're looking to try something new, here's how you can make this yummy lobster roll!

👨‍🍳 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
· 1.5 lb lobster
· Split top buns
· 4 tbsp butter
· 1/2 lemon
· 1/2 cup celery diced
· Cajun seasoning/old bay
· Garlic
· Mayo
· Chives for garnish

👨‍🍳 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
1. Roasted garlic: Heat the oven to 400F. Cut a 1/4-inch from the top of the cloves so that you can see inside the individual cloves of garlic.
2. Place the garlic cut-side-up, on top of foil. Drizzle with 1 tbsp of olive oil and season with some salt and fresh ground black pepper.
3. Wrap the foil up and bake until the cloves are light brown and soft, about 1 hour.
4. Fill a large pot with water. Add 1 tablespoon sea salt and bring to a boil over medium heat.
5. Place the lobster (about 1 1/2 pounds each) directly in the pot; cover and steam until the shells turn bright red, 10-12 minutes.
6. Remove from the water and place in an ice bath for 5 minutes.
7. Remove the lobster from the ice bath and crack the shells and remove the meat. Cut into large chunks.
8. Melt 1 stick unsalted butter in a saucepan with the juice of 1/2 lemon and 1/3 teaspoon cajun seasoning. Add the garlic and celery.
9. Remove from the heat; stir in the lobster meat and season with salt.
10. Toast the buns and coat the inside with mayo. Stuff with the lobster mixture.
11. Add more of the melted butter and garnish with chives. Enjoy!

👨‍🍳 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
· 150g Hong Kong flour/cake flour
· 1.5g baking powder
· 1.5g instant yeast
· 23g sugar
· 80ml water/milk
· 7g oil
· Butterfly pea flower powder
· Red yeast powder

👨‍🍳 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
1. Add flour, baking powder, sugar, and yeast into a bowl. Whisk well. Add oil and water/milk. Mix with a spatula until combined. Cover for 10-15 min.
2. Knead the dough for 10-15 until smooth.
3. Reserve a small amount and color it pink with a tiny amount of red yeast powder (cheeks). Cover and set aside.
4. Split dough in half (12g more white for the ears) and color 1/2 blue (1 tsp butterfly flower powder with a bit of water to turn into a paste). Reserve some blue dough for the eyes.
5. Roll out the plain dough into a big rectangle. Do the same with the blue dough.
6. Brush plain dough with water and place blue dough on top. Roll with a rolling pin so they stick well.
7. Gently roll the dough and seal tightly. Cut ends off for clear sides and then cut into 4 even pieces.
8. Form ears with white dough and attach to both sides of the bun with some water. Roll out his eyes and cheeks and attach them to the middle of the bun.
9. Cover and proof for 30 min.
10. Steam on medium heat for 7 min. Enjoy warm!
