1. Crème brûlée is one of those super simple desserts that can always manage to impress

It can be done the day before and brought out to brûlée after you’ve had dinner. Here’s how I made mine

In a small sauce pan add 2 cups of heavy cream along with a pinch of salt and 2 tbs vanilla extract. Place on a low heat until you start to see steam but no simmering. We don’t want to scald the milk. In separate bowl take 6 egg yolks and whisk together with 1/3 cup of sugar until lighter in color. Now combine the heavy cream a little at a time until combined while continually whisking so we don’t cook our eggs. Now add the mixture to your chosen oven safe bowls/ ramekins. Sit them in a roasting pan and add boiling water until 1/4 to half way up the ramekins. Add to an oven at 300F for around 40 minutes or until slightly firm but still jiggles. The size of your container will determine how long you need to cook them. Allow to cool to room temp and then cover and place in the fridge over night. The next day sprinkle sugar over the top and use a kitchen torch to melt and brown the sugar or under the broiler but watch carefully! Let sit for 30 seconds to firm up and then crack the top and enjoy

3. SOUTHWESTERN BAKED EGG ROLLS W/ AVOCADO RANCH 🥑

A healthier baked not fried version that’s crispy, delicious, and always a hit for party appetizers!

For the egg rolls:
- 1 package egg roll wraps
- 1 egg, beaten for sealing (you can also use water)
- Olive oil to brush on the tops
- 1 can black beans, drained/rinsed
- 1 can corn, drained/rinsed
- 1/2 jalapeño, seeded/diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 8oz shredded Mexican cheese
- Seasoning blend: cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic power, salt/pepper, cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat) - sorry I don’t measure these, just add to your liking!

For the avocado ranch:
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- 1/2 jalapeño
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- Juice of 1 lime
- 8oz ranch dressing
- salt/pepper to taste
Blend everything together!

Place 2 heaping spoonfuls of the filling onto the egg roll wraps. Roll up tightly and seal the edge with your finger using the egg wash. Place seam down onto a lightly greased baking pan and brush the tops with olive oil. You can also brush the tops with more beaten egg if you’d prefer! Bake at 425° for roughly 20-25 minutes or until golden, flipping halfway. Serve with the avocado ranch and enjoy!

7. TRUFFLE HONEY BERRY GRILLED CHEESE. That’s a mouthful 😂

Crispy Sourdough, Caramelized Onion Jam (you neeed to buy it), Brie, Fontina, Gruyère Cheese, Macerated Berries, Thyme, and Truffle Honey. A sweet & savory delighttttt. See recipe below

- macerated berries: in a medium saucepan on medium heat, add your berries, half a squeezed lemon, and some lemon zest and gently stir/press down until desired consistency is reached. I didn’t add sugar because the honey in the sandwich is enough
- In a cast iron skillet on medium heat, add your buttered sourdough and build your sandwich as seen in video. Flip and press down until both sides are browned and crunchy. Take sandwich off and add your berries. Drizzle truffle honey on top and serve!

12. There are so many ways to do a chicken sandwich but this was what I was feeling this day.

In a small pot add the following
3tbs gochujang
Half a cup ketchup
1tsp gochugaru chili flakes
A one inch knob of ginger grated
3tbs soy sauce
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
A pinch of MSG
1/4 cup dark brown sugar

Bring to a low simmer and reduce until thick. Cut the heat and add 5tbs chopped garlic

For the chicken I didn’t do a traditional Korean method of frying. I marinated chicken thighs in buttermilk with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and hot sauce for 4 hours. Then I added to a mix of half corn starch and half flour. Fry at 350°F until 165°F internal.

Now paint your chicken with your delicious sauce and add what you want to your toasted bun. I opted for coleslaw and pickled onions. Enjoy!

18. Jalapeños poppers🔥

Ingredients:
-6 jalapeños
-4oz cream cheese (room temp)
-2 grated garlic cloves
-1/2tsp onion powder
-1/4tsp smoked paprika
-1/4tsp salt
-1/4tsp pepper
-1/4cup finely shredded cheese (I used a sharp hickory smoked cheddar, it adds a great flavor and a white cheddar!)
-6 slices of bacon (cut in half)
-jalapeño seeds

Recipe:
-preheat oven to 400F.
-cut jalapeños in half and scoop out all of the seeds. Keep the seeds to add back in if you like them spicy!
-mix cream cheese, garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, jalapeño seeds (optional—I did about 1.5tsp of seeds) in a medium bowl.
-fill each jalapeño with the filling (about 1tsp per jalapeño half).
-Wrap in bacon and secure with a toothpick! I used 1/2 pieces of bacon because I didn’t want a ton but you can top with bacon pieces or use a whole slice. :)
-add foil to a cooking sheet. Add a cooking rack on top. Add jalapeño poppers.
-cook for 25-30min until bacon is fully cooked :)
-let cook for 5-10 min. Remove toothpicks and enjoy!!!

Note: I personally liked these grilled but I don’t have a grill currently :( if you want them grilled just do everything the same and cook until bacon is done! It’s way faster so don’t walk away from it hehe

25. NO BAKE WHITE CHOCOLATE PEANUT PROTEIN BARS 🥜

Only 6 ingredients, protein packed and soooo delicious! Make ahead for breakfast or a snack and store in the refrigerator for best results.

- 3 scoops vanilla protein powder (my fave is linked in my “food links” highlight on my profile)
- 3 tablespoons coconut flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened nut milk
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- white chocolate chips, melted (about 1/2 cup)
- peanuts to top

Combine the protein powder, coconut flour, peanut butter, and milk until a cookie dough like consistency forms. Line a small dish (I used a 9x5 baking dish) with parchment paper and press the dough in to form the bottom layer. Place in the freezer for about 20 minutes then pour the melted white chocolate on top and spread evenly. Top with peanuts while the chocolate is still warm and place back in the freezer for 20-30 minutes. Store chilled 😋
