Sometimes the simple things are among the tastiest things. For something like this, try and source the best quality ingredients you can since there are so few

Ingredients:
• good bread from a local bakery
• some good ricotta
• fresh basil leaves
• a decent olive oil
• salt and pepper
• chili flakes if you like!

Instructions:
• Toast your bread and give it a healthy slathering of ricotta followed by a nice layer of prosciutto. Garnish with basil leaves and give it a nice drizzle of olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste, chili flakes if you like!

4. FRENCH ONION SOUP🧅👇🏻

6 large or yellow onions
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon sugar
salt, to taste
1 clove garlic, minced
8 cups beef stock
1/2 cup white wine
2 bay leaves
2 sprigs fresh thyme
1 tsp black pepper
1 French Baguette
2 cups grated Gruyere cheese

Peel and thinly slice the onions:

Begin caramelizing the onions with olive oil and butter:

Increase the heat to medium high. Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and the butter and cook, stirring often, until the onions start to brown, about 20 to 40 minutes. The amount of time will vary depending on your pot, stove, and onions.


In a large pot, heat olive oil on medium high heat. Add the onions and mix well. Cook the onions and stir often for 15 minutes or until softened. Add the butter and and continue to cook onions for about 30 minutes until onions start to develop more color and begin caramelization. Add salt + sugar + minced garlic. Continue cooking until onions are browned. The KEY with this is being patient until onions develop desired caramelization.

Slowly add in wine to deglaze the pot and scrape the sides of the pot, continuing to caramelize onions.

Once onions are caramelized, add stock, bay leaves, thyme, and 1 tsp salt.

Keep at low heat and let simmer for 20 minutes.

Slice French baguette. Place on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Bake at 350 until golden brown. Shred gruyere cheese and set aside.

For serving- get an oven safe soup bowl. Use a ladle to add soup to bowl. Add french baguette slices on top (depending on soup bowl). then go in with grated gruyere cheese.

Place in the oven and broil until cheese is golden brown, will only take a couple of minutes.

Ingredients:

~DOUGH~
-3/4cup milk
-1/4cup granulated sugar
-2 1/4tsp quick rise yeast
-3/4cup pumpkin purée
-1/4cup melted butter
-1 egg
-4cups bread flour
-1tsp cinnamon
-3/4tsp salt

~FILLING~
-1/4cup salted butter
-2tbsp pumpkin purée
-3/4cup brown sugar
-1tbsp cinnamon, 1/2tsp nutmeg, 1/2tsp allspice, 1/4tsp ginger, 1/4tsp cloves

~FROSTING~
-4oz cream cheese, 1/3cup powdered sugar, 2tbsp maple syrup, pinch of salt, dash of milk

Recipe:
-warm milk to about 110°F, add sugar and yeast. Stir and add pumpkin purée, egg, and melted butter. Mix to combine and add cinnamon, salt, and flour.
-knead dough for 8 min until smooth and set into a large bowl. Cover and let rise for 1hr (until double its sized)
-in a small bowl add filling ingredients and mix until well combined
-roll out the dough to a 10x14” rectangle. Evenly spread the filling mixture. Starting on the longest side, roll it tightly.
-cut into 12 even rolls
-add to a greased 9x13 pan or 2 smaller pans (I had to do 2 batches because my oven is small😅)
-cover and let rise for another 30 min! -preheat oven to 350°F
-bake for 20-25min until golden brown!
-mix together frosting ingredients and cover cinnamon rolls with it 🤤

Ingredients:
-French baguette (or your favorite bread)
-sliced tomatoes
-deli meat (I used a cracked pepper turkey, pepperoni, and salami)
-sliced havarti and provolone
-Iceberg lettuce (1/4th of a head)
-1/4 of a red onion (thinly sliced)
-1/3 cup mayo
-1 tsp dijon mustard
-1 grated garlic clove
-1 tbsp hot cherry peppers (finely diced)
-2 tbsp black olives (finely diced)
-1 tsp red wine vinegar
-1 tsp italian seasoning
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-salt and pepper to taste

Recipe:
-PS. I didn’t specifically measure any of the ingredients but this is a rough estimate. Taste and adjust however you like, I believe in you!!!
-in a large bowl mix the mayo, red wine vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, Italian seasoning, grated garlic, diced cherry peppers, diced olives, and salt and pepper
-cut iceberg lettuce and red onions, add to the large bowl with the mayo mixture. Toss and put into the fridge
-add turkey, pepperoni, salami and cheese to the sandwich. Put in the oven on broil until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted
-add tomatoes to one side of the sandwich (season with salt and pepper). Add lettuce mixture and ENJOYYYY

10. Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders 🔥

Recipe
• Season and grill up 3lbs of chicken thighs until they reach 175F internal
• Chop them up into bite sized pieces
• Assemble sliders with marble Jack cheese, chopped chicken, 2 tbsp green onion, 1/2 lb chopped bacon, ranch, pepper Jack cheese
• Place to top and back on brush on butter and sprinkle on garlic rub on top of the buns
• Cook at 300F for 20 mins until cheese melts
• Slice up sliders and serve hot

13. Chipotle-lime smashed potatoes

they’re so addicting and almost too easy to make:

10 small Yukon gold potatoes (or 5 large, halved)
1 tbsp butter
Shredded cheese (I used the Swiss & Gruyère blend from @traderjoes)
1 tbsp oil
3 tbsp mayo
1 tsp chipotle powder
1/2 lime, juices
Cilantro, minced
Chives or scallions, thinly sliced
Salt & pepper

Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the potatoes — cook for 20-25 minutes, until fork tender. Let chill and then smash as thin as possible.

Preheat oven to 425F. Brush potatoes with butter and oil, sprinkle with salt and bake for 30-40 minutes, until edges are crispy. Top with cheese, cilantro and a crack of pepper then bake for 5 more minutes, until cheese is melted.

Combine chipotle powder, mayo and a squeeze of lime juice, then top the baked potatoes. Add chives and scallions, then serve!

• 0.5 lb. Filet Mignon (sirloin steak works fine as well)
• 1 tbsp parsley chopped
• 1 tbsp capers chopped
• 1 tbsp cornichons chopped
• 4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp tabasco hot sauce
• 1 ½ tbsp dijon mustard
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 egg yolks
• baguette sliced

❂ Cooking process:

1. Finely chop chilled beef
2. Finely chop the capers, cornichons, shallots and parsley
3. Mix beef, capers, cornichons, shallots, parsley with Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and 1 egg yolk
4. Press the tartare into a round mold
5. Make a small well in the center and add the second egg yolk
6. Serve with toasted sliced baguette

* Sourdough loaf
* 2lb chicken breasts
* Bottle of hot sauce
* Half stick of butter
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* 1 tsp onion powder
* 1/2 tsp salt
* Mozzarella cheese

RECIPE
1. Place the chicken, hot sauce, seasonings, and butter into a crock pot.
2. Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2.
3. Use 2 forks to shred the chicken.
4. Add the chicken to sourdough loaf and top with mozzarella cheese.
5. Bake at 350F for 10 minutes then broil until golden brown.
6. Top with more hot sauce, ranch, and scallions.

- 15 pcs tiger prawns (peeled and deveined)
- Spring roll wrapper (lumpia wrapper)
- 1/2 kg ground meat of choice
- 1/2 small cabbage (finely chopped)
- 2 stalks leeks (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp Benishoga finely chopped (japanese pickled ginger)
- 1 tbsp grated garlic
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 egg
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- cornstarch slurry

𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀:
- Takoyaki sauce/Tonkatsu sauce
- Japanese Mayo
- Aonori powder
- Bonito flakes

𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦:
- Make shallow cuts along the shrimps belly in order to straighten it out. set aside.
- Mix together your ground meat of choice with spring onions, cabbage, pickled ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil and egg. Add salt & pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
- Fold large square spring roll wrapper in half adding cornstarch slurry to bind it. Add about 1 tbsp of meat filling inside and place your shrimp in the center leaving the tail exposed. gently tuck and fold over the wrapper making sure only the shrimp tail is exposed. make sure to add cornstarch slurry to bind it.
- Deep fry in neutral oil for about 5 mins at 375F or until crispy and golden brown.
- Top spring rolls with Takoyaki sauce, Japanese Mayo, Aonori powder and Bonito flakes. Serve and enjoy ❤️

22. Smash Burger

I absolutely love a smash burger. It's not the fanciest thing in the world. But sometimes I'm just in the mood for a big greasy burger. I make sure to run an extra mile on the treadmill tomorrow.

✨ Recipe ✨

✨ Beef ✨ 85% lean Angus beef. Roll balls the size of a golf ball. Drop on a hot pan and place a piece of parchment paper on top before smashing. This will keep it from sticking to your spatula. Once it's flattened season with salt and pepper and let it cook for 30 seconds. Flip the Burger and add diced onions and american cheese. Cover for about 20 to 30 seconds or until cheese is melted. Repeat this process two more times.

✨ Sauce ✨ in a bowl add 1tbsp of ketchup, mustard, relish, mayonnaise. Mix till everything is combined. ( You can do whatever sauce you like this is what I did)

23. My little girl loves this egg and cheese wrap in the mornings!

Ingredients:
• 4 large eggs, beaten and salted 15 minutes before cooking
• ¼ cup of grated cheddar
• 1 large burrito flour tortilla
• 3 tbsp of butter

Steps:

• Heat 2 tbsp butter over medium heat in a nonstick pan. Add eggs and stir quickly until loosely set. Be careful not to overcook them!
• Remove the eggs from the pan and give it a quick whip with a paper towel to remove excess egg bits. Add 1 tbsp of butter until melted and then your tortilla. Place eggs in the center of the tortilla and cheese on top of it. Fold up your wrap, bringing in the sides and then rolling it up. Cook for several minutes, flap side down until golden brown, flip and do the same for the other side. Cut in half and enjoy!

24. ! I love crunchwraps and adding Kimchi to one really just made a lot of sense

Ingredients:
• 1 lb ground prok
• 4 flour tortillas, large burrito sized
• 2 tortilla tostadas, taco sized
• 2 cups lettuce, chopped into thin strips
• 1 cup kimchi, roughly chopped
• 2-3 tbsp kimchi juice
• 1 cup tomatoes, roughly chopped
• 1 cup scallions, thinly sliced
• 1 ½ cups shredded mexican cheese blend
• ½ cup sour cream
• 2 tbsp avocado oil
• 1 tbsp ground mushroom powder (any kind really)
• salt

Steps:

• Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork and break apart. Add mushroom powder and mix everything together. Season with salt and cook for about 3 minutes stirring frequently. Clear a spot in the center of your pan and add in your kimchi. Stir to combine and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
• Take 2 of your tortillas and, using your knife, cut out a smaller circle from their centers (removing about 2-3 inches all the way around).
• Time to assemble. Starting with your full tortilla as your base, add your ingredients in the following order: pork, cheese, tortilla tostada, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, scallions and cheese. Make sure to keep about 2-3 inches available for folding all the way around and don’t overload your toppings (they stack up quickly). Finish by adding one of the cut tortilla circles on top of the ingredient mount. Then, tightly fold the edges of the large tortilla toward the center, creating pleats. Quickly flip the Crunchwrap over so pleats are on the bottom and they stay together nicely.
• Warm 1 tbsp of avocado oil in a 10 inch cast iron skillet over medium heat. Cook your crunchwraps until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes on each side and starting with the pleated side down. Use a chef’s press or another cooking weight if you have it. Add in the kimchi juice to the pan for added color.
• Cut in half down the center and enjoy!

2-3 sweet bell peppers
2 mini jalapeños
1/2 white onion, chopped
American cheese
Garlic powder

Ketchup optional

Recipe
1. Begin by adding EVOO and salt to your whole peppers, + roast/broil until charred.
2. Let rest for a few min, meanwhile chop your topping ingredients (lettuce, tomato, jalapeño, onion)
3. Chop your peppers, + get a pan super hot with EVOO.
4. Sear your ground beef, chop up loosely, then add onion and jalapeño, and cook for 3 min.
5. Top with cheese, add ice cube and cover to let steam and melt cheese.
6. Toast your bread in butter, and assemble your chopped 🧀

26. Comfort food at it’s finest <3 Basil pesto & avocado toasted sandwich

toast two slices of sourdough to your liking, then spread/layer on the following:

- basil pesto of choice (i find vegan variations at whole foods and trader joes)
- cream cheese (i used vegan)
- mashed avocado
- tomato slices
- arugula

sandwich the pieces together, brush both sides with butter or oil of choice, cook on the stovetop for 2-3 min on each side or until crispy and the cheese has melted. slice and enjoy!

27. Garlic Shrimp STUFFED SHELLS✨

Recipe for 12-15 fully stuffed shells:
•boil jumbo pasta shells al dente
•sauté 15-20 shrimp with 1tbsp butter & 1tbsp garlic
•remove shrimp from skillet
•add in 1tbsp sun-dried tomato oil, 3/4 jar of garlic marinara, 1tbsp parsley & 1 cup heavy cream
•simmer on low for 3min
•let shrimp cool & dice into small pieces
•in a bowl mix 15oz ricotta, shrimp, 1/2 cup chopped spinach, 1 cup mozzarella, 1/2 cup diced sun-dried tomatoes
•pour in 1 cup of pasta sauce on baking dish
•stuff shells fully with shrimp mixture & place in baking dish
•pour remaining sauce over shells
•top with more grated mozzarella, crushed red pepper, parsley & top with aluminum foil
•bake at 375 for 10 minutes

Ingredients:
• 1 bosc pear, peeled and cut into wedges
• 1 tsp, cinnamon

Steps:
• Bring 3-4 inches of water to a boil in a 1 qt sauce pan. Add in the pears and stir in the cinnamon. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring every now and then. Strain out the pears and enjoy!
