INGREDIENTS
1 tri tip
bbq rub
1 white onion, sliced
ciabatta rolls
gouda cheese slices
arugula
butter
Jalapeno Aioli
-1 1/2 cups mayo
-2 jalapenos or 1 if you want less spicy
-Juice of 1 lime
-1 bunch cilantro
-1 tsp garlic powder
-1 tsp onion powder
-pinch of sea salt and pepper
-splash of olive oil
.
1) add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth.
1) Season tri tip and smoke at 225 degrees until internal temperature reaches 120-125, then sear over high heat until temperature hits 130-135 and rest for 10-15 minutes.
2) Over medium heat, cook and caramelize onions with butter, salt, and a splash of maple syrup for about 15-20 minutes.
3) Toss arugula in a bowl with a drizzle of olive oil and pinch of salt
4) Once everything is ready, start assembling sandwiches. Enjoy!

Yesterday I was really craving the flavor combination of coconut, ginger, and lemongrass which pairs perfectly with sweet seafood like scallops and shrimp and umami rich and earthy shiitakes. I always like to put some type of fruit in my bowls and plum seemed perfect to compliment my flavors. Next up is texture. You can’t go wrong with putting fried shallots on anything and I love the texture of water chestnuts that I sautéed in soy sauce. Gotta have a green vegetable in a rice bowl and baby bok choy was calling my name. Finished with a squeeze of lime, Thai basil, and cilantro

18. Finding a good vegetarian sandwich can be tough

Ingredients:
• 4 large beets with their greens (2 pounds), greens & their stems as well
• 1/4 cup EVOO
• 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
• 1 (2-inch) knob fresh peeled ginger, grated
• 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
• kosher salt & freshly ground black pepper
• 4 slices bread, lightly toasted with olive oil
• 1 handful picked flat-leaf parsley leaves
• 1 medium fennel bulb, thinly sliced, plus 1 small handful fennel fronds
• 1 scallion, thinly sliced
• 1 ounce fresh goat cheese, crumbled

Directions:
• Preheat oven to 350°F. Place beet roots in a skillet, drizzle with oil to coat lightly, add a couple of tbsps of water. Cover tightly with foil & roast until a fork tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Let beets rest until cool enough to handle.
• Separate beet stems from leaves. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add stems & cook until tender, 3 minutes, transfer to ice bath. Repeat with leaves for 1 minute. Drain & squeeze dry. Roughly chop & set aside.
• Use paper towels to rub off beet root skins. Trim off root ends & any other blemishes with a knife. Slice beets into 1/4-inch slices.
• In a mixing bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup olive oil with vinegar, ginger, & mustard. Season with salt & pepper.
• Toss beets in dressing. Lift beet slices from dressing & layer on half of the bread slices. Add the sliced fennel & its fronds, parsley, reserved beet greens & stems, & the scallions to the dressing and toss to coat.
• Mound the dressed salad on top of the beet slices. Crumble goat cheese on top & serve.

Recipe:

Chicken:
- Flour mixture: 1 cup all purpose flour, 1/2 tbsp garlic salt, 1/2 tbsp paprika, 1/4 tbsp cayenne pepper, 1/2 tsp pepper
- Egg mixture: 2 eggs, 1 cup buttermilk, 1 tbsp hot sauce
- Cornflake Dust

Directions:
1. Salt and pepper chicken
2. Dredge thighs in your egg mixture, then your flour mixture and repeat once more. then into your cornflakes
3. Fry for 4-5 minutes (or until golden brown). Set aside to dry
4. Make Buffalo Sauce: Add 1/3 cup melted butter and 1/2 cup hot sauce.
5. Coat Chicken in Buffalo Sauce

Homemade ranch
-Mix 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup buttermilk or regular milk, 1 tsp dried dill weed, 1/2 tsp dried parsley, 1/2 tsp dried chives,1/4 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp finely cracked pepper, 2 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 1.5 cups grape tomatoes
- 1/4 cup parmesan (or nutritional yeast)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- salt & pepper to taste

𝙏𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝:
- parsley
- chilli flakes

𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨:
1) Chop up your onion and bell pepper and sauté with oil with your tomatoes
2) Cook until onions are golden brown and add to a blender with other ingredients
3) Add with pasta
(opt) add to a strainer for a less chunky sauce
